first entry for March. The school holidays will start tomorrow, but i'm already at home (i have a taklimat for S/U biasiswa in KB..haha~ cuti awal le jawabnye).

well, i just wanted to share something that happened to me last Tuesday. It was a hectic day. i was 'guru bertugas' this week. On that day, so many unexpected things happened. Student A ni la, student B, student C ni la. Tapi, yg peliknye dieorg semua datang cari Cik Siti Syamimi (alahai, mcm aku sorang je cikgu bertugas). And on that day, i wasn't in a good mood. i had an extreme headache cuz mlm tu tak leh tido. Guess what was i thinking that night? My students' results!! I did my own post-mortem (before being asked by the KP, hehehe) that night. I was thinking why they couldn't do well, in other word, PASS the paper (FYI, only one from my five classes get 40 marks above in the exam). was it my fault? was it because of my teaching? and i was thinking about interesting ways that i can use in my teaching processes. Haaa...because of this (and one more factor which couldn't be described here), i couldn't sleep that night, until what time, i wasn't sure. Bangun je pagi tu....kepala berdenyut2. Naseb la...

And worst, at 3 pm, i had to teach a Form 3 class for the Tuisyen paid by the Wilayah Felda Gua Musang. I walked in with a stressed face. Kepala masih berdenyut2. I didn't familiar with the students as i do not teach them in the morning. So, i started with a diagnostic test for half an hour only. Kepalaku berdenyut2 lagi. Then, i introduced myself, what they will be doing for this two hours and what i expect from them until this tuition ends in July.

They are all a combination of good classes, so my expectation is high. i expect that they will understand my simple english..


T: Can i speak fully in English?

Girls: can can
Boys: No! No! Malay-English la teacher.

(Time ni makin sakit dah kepala sbb masing2 menjerit2)

Then there's a student asked me: "Teacher ok tak? Nampak stress je" with a concerned face (a girl, ok)

i just smiled and said that i'm fine.

First thing when i opened my mouth to speak, i took a glimpse at this student. He was staring at me like i'm an alien. with a frown on his face and mulut yg terlopong, i couldn't help myself but laughed out loud!! That was so funny, i didn't know why, but he managed to make me laughed today! Kepalaku berdenyut lagi. I tried to control myself. Then, i gave an instruction and took a look at him. His face was still like that, with a.. erm, maybe, cute frown and mulut yg terlopong tu. Finally he shouted "Teacher, malay laaa" with a frustrated face. Rupe2nye die tak paham. Agak dah..Orang lain dah instruction yg ke 2, die tak buat pape lagi. But he kept looking at me when i was giving out the instruction. Leh tak. Senang je instruction that i gave tu.


FIRST: Fold the paper into two.

THEN: Fold it again. .

THIRD: Write your name at the middle of the paper.

So, i had to go and dengan sehabis gayanya showed him. But, everytime i tried to speak in english, i couldn't take a look at his face..Funny, yet cute. He's not handsome, he's not cute but maybe coz he paid full attention and tried his very hard to listen to me made him looked cute...

Hmm..well, he made my day! And the next day, he saw me and yelled "Teacher, bile nk buat kelas tuisyen lagi. I want to speak english dah lepas ni" So, i couldn't really say whether he's trying to fool me or what.. but somehow he made me laughed that day!
