19th Dec 2008, celebrating my 23rd years of living in this world. Woke up with 'Alhamdulillah' in my heart. No high hopes about a surprise birthday party or whatsoever. Early in the morning, my mom wished me 'happy birthday, dear my daughter'. I said thanks...and with a slow voice, i said "Thanks, mom for giving birth to me" (quite shy to say things like this in front of a mom, actually). Then, i went to a 'Tazkirah Jumaat' as usual. I received quite a number of sms from friends and my sis and younger brother. "Thanks, guys for remembering my day" hehe~
I went through my day with my plain routine. Until..in the evening, my big bro came home bringing a 'Secret Resepi' bag. Ahah..i knew it. They went to KB Mall without inviting me. There must be something going on (Usually, Kak Ah will invite me to tag along to go anywhere they go). It was quite a surprise actually. The cheesecake bought was a gift from my elder sister, and my nephew, Nik Naufal si budak kecik (And die tengah mencubit lenganku at this moment. Sakit laa..).
Actually, eventho people will say that i am too old to get presents... Fortunately, i received 'senaskhah Tafsir Al-Quran' from my parents, two pairs of shoes (Polo and Sentinni), kain baju batik ekslusif and a cake! Many thanks go to my bros, my sis-in-law and Kak long. Hmm... now i'm waiting for my 'handbag and perfume gifts' from K Ann and K Pah.... An advantage of having many sis and bros *wink wink* You'll get more presents.
